Itinerary:
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Depart after breakfast towards Taroudant, known as the “Little Marrakech,” where you'll visit its ancient ramparts and lively souks.
Continue through the High Atlas Mountains to reach the legendary kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a backdrop for films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
After visiting the site, head to Ouarzazate – the “Gateway to the Desert” – and explore the famous Atlas Studios.
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel or riad.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Desert Camp
After breakfast, travel along the iconic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Pass through the Rose Valley and Dades Valley before reaching the stunning Todra Gorges, where you'll stop for a short walk and photos.
Continue through Berber villages like Tinjdad, Melaab, and Erfoud, with a lunch stop along the way.
In the late afternoon, arrive at the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.
Begin a 1.5-hour camel ride into the desert to your luxury nomadic camp.
Enjoy sunset over the dunes, followed by a traditional dinner and evening of Berber music around the campfire under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Anti-Atlas – Return to Agadir
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a refreshing shower, ride your camel back to Merzouga.
Begin the return journey to Agadir via the scenic Draa Valley, known for its palm groves and fortified villages.
Pass through Agdz and cross the Anti-Atlas mountains (up to 1,660 meters), with a lunch break en route.
Continue through the High Atlas, arriving back in Agadir by late afternoon with drop-off at your hotel.
